The steel glass partition: the signature element of Parisian renovation
Few architectural elements transform an interior as dramatically as a steel glass partition. It divides space without enclosing it, lets light pass through and creates a visual boundary between two zones while maintaining spatial continuity. In Haussmannian apartments and contemporary Parisian lofts alike, the glass partition wall is now one of the most sought-after features.
Wild Renovation creates all custom steel and glass partitions in Paris — industrial atelier style, Art Deco arches, slim contemporary profiles — in the materials best suited to each project: powder-coated steel, aluminium, brass, patinated steel.
"A well-designed glass partition divides without separating — it creates two spaces that remain one apartment."
The types of partitions we create
Atelier-style glass partition
The atelier-style glass partition draws inspiration from 19th-century Parisian artist studios. T or H profiles, small panes, regular vertical mullions — it brings a refined industrial character that integrates perfectly into reinterpreted Haussmannian apartments. We produce it in matt black, slate grey or off-white powder-coated steel.
Art Deco arched glass partition
The arched glass partition is one of our most spectacular creations, particularly suited to characterful Parisian apartments. Full or segmental arches create a powerful architectural rhythm that dialogues with Haussmannian mouldings and cornices. The arches are produced by cold bending or welding segments.
Slim-profile contemporary glass partition
For minimalist interiors, the ultra-slim-profile glass partition in powder-coated aluminium or machined steel offers maximum lightness. Mullions just 20 to 30 mm wide create an almost transparent wall, particularly effective between living room and kitchen or between bedroom and dressing room.
Fixed or opening glazed wall
The glazed wall can incorporate opening elements — hinged leaves, pocket doors, sliding panels — to allow circulation while preserving the partition aesthetic. Wild Renovation integrates concealed pocket-door systems for maximum fluidity.
Roof glazing and conservatory
For apartments with terrace access or houses with convertible attics, a steel and laminated-glass roof light creates exceptionally bright spaces. These installations require structural analysis and flawless waterproofing — Wild Renovation coordinates the entire process.
